As a writer and artist, I work independently and with others to shape interdisciplinary projects often embodied through writing, printed matter, voice, sound, and performance. I live and work on the Isle of Seil, a small island just off the west coast of Scotland.
My practice moves through the edges of language and the body—attuned to how they are held, shaped, and spoken within dominant structures. Beginning with personal and cultural narratives, I work to decompress counter-histories and create sensorial, material encounters. Often site-responsive, my work drifts between physical places and more intimate thresholds: the page, the voice, the body—each a site of inquiry and expression.

I share my work through readings, exhibitions, and events across various contexts. Recently I have taken part in Edinburgh Art Festival, Scotland; The Brooklyn Rail, New York; TULCA Festival, Ireland; Glasgow International, Scotland; Auto Italia, London; Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York. Solo shows and commissions include Glasgow Project Room; CCA Glasgow; Now & Next, LUX Scotland and BBC; The Edwin Morgan Trust; Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh. I have taken part in residencies at Can Serrat, Spain; Scottish Sculpture Workshop; Cove Park, Scotland; Artist Alliance Inc, New York.
In April 2025 I was selected as one of the Foyle’s Artists in Residence at Hospitalfield House. There, I have been exploring further modes of expression for a project Models, an ongoing project which unfolded into a solo exhibition at Glasgow Project Room in March 2025. In July 2025, I concluded my time on the MFA Program at The Milton Avery School of Art, Bard College, New York, in the writing discipline.
I am also co-founder and co- director of Rosie’s Disobedient Press which is an ongoing project, initiated in collaboration with Lisette May Monroe in 2020. Emerging from a shared interest with writing as a visual and material practice, the Press operates as an artist-led space for expanded publishing—developing projects with other artists, writers, and organisations through books, printed matter, workshops, events, and sound. As a press we are interested in practices that engage with queer, working-class and feminist modes of production.
